Meetup at 9:30 am (location given in your club email)
This will be a trip up to Holt Canyon for Chalcedony. High Clearance 4WD is required.
Bring a bucket, spray bottle and rock hammer to help identify pieces worthy of lapidary. The claim owner has only granted us permission for this day. Please take pictures of your finds and send to me: president@southernutahrockclub.org as requested by the claim owner.
The area is hilly with loose soil. Plenty of parking along the Forestry Road that requires high clearance due to bushes.
