NOTE: bring serving spoons, tongs, etc with your dish. The club will provide plates, cups, and utensils.
Coin Competition
It is time for the THIRD mint of our club coin!! Use the attached template to draw or render your coin idea (no geodes lol) or use a blank piece of paper or two for you concept. Bring your concept to the potluck and we will all judge the winner! The winner will get a sweet rock or mineral from the club! ***New Rule for this year NO AI GENERATED images. Show us your hand drawn artwork.
White Buffalo (aka White Elephant):
Bring something wrapped that is a rock/mineral or related item (don't purchase something over $20 for the gift exchange). Many of us will probably bring something we found or made as well for this fun event (two steals allowed haha). Bring a gift for as many people that are coming in your party to ensure everyone gets a gift.
Cedar City Agate Cabochon Competition
This meeting our cabochon competition entries must be made from the Cedar City/Brian Head agate deposits. If you don't have any Cedar City agate you can go out for a hike east of Cedar in the foothills, or ask Lynn Dalton at the shop to gift you some for this special competition. If you are in the St. George Area, please message Mitch Eldwood for a free piece to make a cabochon!
