The club’s lapidary workshop is for active club members in good standing with membership dues paid before utilizing the shop. Not a member? You can join by clicking here.
Lapidary Shop News: To all SURC members, please be advised that effective Dec 1st, 2026, the hourly rate for use of the shop equipment will now be $5 per machine. As the war on inflation continues, the cost of saw blades, oil, arbor wheels & costs to resurface, cat litter, trash bags & other essentials, increases in rent & liability insurance are all up 30-40%, and this is without factoring in major repairs. We are, however, proud to say that since the shop has been in existence, there has never been an increase until now. Our new goal is to address & expedite repairs with minimal downtime.
We appreciate your ongoing support and understanding.
